An AB Dental customized implant, designed individually for cases where standard implants do not suit, due to extensive bone loss.
This case is of a 70 y/o woman with very poor residual maxillary ridge and old implants that needed to be replaced.
The option of conventional implants would have required very long and complicated treatments.
After explaining the advantages and disadvantages of this option, the chosen treatment for her was a sub-periosteal implant, specifically designed for her by AB Dental.
Her removable denture was adapted to a screw-retained fixed restoration immediately.
