Reconstruction of complex mandibular defects using integrated dental custom-made titanium implants.
This patient age 26, is after resection of the right ramus due to Ameloblastoma, and following fracture of the fixation plate used following the first surgery.
The custom implant was designed to restore the ramus, and full masticatory function on the right, using 2 implant platforms.

A.

The Implant is manufactured by Laser Sintering from titanium dust, using a 3D Printer.

The jaw model is after virtual removal of the tumor and jaw resection.

C.

The area for the bone from the donor site is open, and the abutments are an integral part of the design.
