A female healthy patient in her 60s came to the clinic with a complaint of missing lower left teeth and bone, that was not been able to restore in any other technique.
In order to restore the bone loss on the left mandible in this case, we decided to use an individually 3D printed customized implant.
The surgery included buccal and lingual flaps, the implant was placed onto the mandible bone and was fixed with predetermined screws. Bone augmentation granules were placed on top and the flaps were sewed in a relaxed state.
After 8 months an impression was taken, and a screw-retained bridge was performed.
