A 54-year-old male patient, came to the clinic with a main concern: “My teeth are loose, I can not eat”.
Medical history: controlled diabetes type II.
Intra-oral and radiographic examination revealed a partially edentulous patient with Severe, Generalized Adult Type Periodontitis.
Treatment rendered:
Re-evaluation and assessment of bone volume and quality for implant placement.
Ten endosseous implants were placed in a single-stage protocol (six in the maxilla and four in the anterior mandible).
Implant-supported over-dentures were constructed and delivered.
One year follow-up revealed a pleased patient, with no deterioration of the bars or prostheses.
